[BIG EAST TOURNAMENT: Quarterfinals] No. 12 Marquette, No. 18 Georgetown, No. 24 Notre Dame and USF moved into the Big East semifinals with wins on Sunday.
Marquette scored a pair of goals in each half to beat Connecticut, 4-1, and move into the Big East semifinals for the sixth time.
The Golden Eagles got goals from juniors Vanessa Legault-Cordisco and Maegan Kelly, senior Rachael Sloan and an own goal. The
Huskies' lone tally came in the 84th minute from senior Danielle Schulmann.

gathered in a long lead pass from U.S. Under-20 World Cup championship teammate Mandy Laddish and scored with 12 minutes remaining to lift Notre Dame to a 1-0
victory over Syracuse.
