The LIJSL was formed in 1966 and now has grown to the largest youth soccer league in the United States with over 60,000 players. In over 40 years of existence, the LIJSL alumni group has grown to over 1 million people and represents one of the most influential demographic groups on Long Island. We are pleased to convey that recently, the LIJSL has been focused on increasing services and programs designed to benefit children, promoting and growing the sport of soccer on Long Island, and creating tremendous value for our corporate partners. It is our intention to design partnerships that will immerse local and national partners with the vast LIJSL community, resulting in sponsors that are synonymous with soccer and the soccer family on Long Island.
At the heart of the LIJSL’s new Commercial Development Division is the creation and re launch of our website,
www.lijsoccer.com. This is a significant development for the LIJSL and marks the beginning of a new era for Long Island youth soccer players and their families
, along with the league
’s commercial partners. The LIJSL is now a league in an even stronger position to build the business of our corporate partners and connect them with an “addressable” audience of over 60,000 registered players.
Furthermore, this audience expands as each player has at least two parents representing approximately 120,000 adults. One of the most unique characteristics of this “soccer family” is its inclination for sport and brand loyalty. Our LIJSL community is closely knit and supports those individuals and businesses that support their children and family members. Our proposals include a combination of experiential, branding and media based marketing opportunities.
