27 LIJSL Teams Accepted to ENYYSA Premier League [ Jan 24, 2012 ]

By Randy Vogt, Director of Public Relations, Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association
The Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association (ENYYSA) is pleased to announce that 82 teams––49 girls squads and 33 boys teams––have been accepted into the prestigious ENYYSA Premier League. These squads had outstanding records in their respective leagues, applied and were accepted into the Premier League and will be facing some of the best competition that ENYYSA has to offer.

Not surprisingly, the Long Island Junior Soccer League, ENYYSA’s largest league and one of the world’s largest soccer leagues, contributes the most teams with 27. That number dwarfs the 18 Westchester Youth Soccer Soccer League teams that will be competing and the 17 from the East Hudson Youth Soccer League sides, 11 from the Capital District, four from Hudson Valley, three from the Cosmopolitan Junior Soccer League, and one team apiece from Central New York and the Staten Island Youth Soccer League. Kickoff is scheduled for March with the season concluding in June.
