It was another proud weekend for the Long Island Junior Soccer League. Just days after the league had 13 teams win State Cup titles, another team captured the girls U19 crown in State Cup competition and six teams won in the finals of the Challenge Cup competition.
The 91 Albertson Fury won the U19 State Cup crown with a 1-0 win over HBC Arsenal 91 Intense in another all-Long Island final, which has become the norm in this year’s brackets. In the Challenge Cup, there were five championship finals that featured two LIJSL teams.
