Long Island Junior Soccer League

Membership

The league’s mission is to foster the growth and development of youth through the sport of soccer. This is done through its 100+ member clubs located throughout Greater Long Island (Nassau, Suffolk, and Queens Counties, N.Y.).

Any organization seeking to become a member of the league can petition the Board of Directors through the Membership Committee. Please review the membership guideline and fill in the LIJSL membership application below for more information. The request for membership must be submitted to the Committee.

Upon reviewing the findings of the Membership Committee, the Board of Directors will decide upon the admissibility of the organization. New membership will be granted to those organizations who meet the criteria, and due consideration will also be given to the stability of existing clubs and the best interests of the youth the league serves.

Member clubs must be registered and known by the name of a town, community, or school District.

This league is affiliated with the Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association, Inc. (ENYYSA), and the United States Youth Soccer Association, Inc. (USYSA), a division of the United States Soccer Federation (USSF). Every club in good standing with the Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association, Inc. shall be eligible for membership in the league.
